Out-of-Network Benefits & Reimbursement
At our practice, we are not an in-network provider with any insurance companies. However, many of our clients successfully use their out-of-network benefits to receive partial reimbursement for their sessions.
This means you can still work with us and receive reimbursement from your insurance, depending on your plan.
How It Works
- You Pay Us Directly with a payment method you put on file, which gets charged by your therapist after each session. You’ll pay the session fee at the time of your appointment. We accept payment via credit card, bank card, HSA/FSA, check or cash..
- We Provide a Superbill. We’ll give you a monthly superbill—a detailed receipt with all the information your insurance company needs to process a claim. This includes diagnosis codes, service codes, session dates, and provider credentials.
- You Submit the Superbill to Your InsuranceYou submit your superbill directly to your insurance company for reimbursement. Many clients submit online through their member portal or use apps like Reimbursify
- Good News, you can submit your claim to insurance through the app Reimbursify
Will I Be Reimbursed?
Most PPO and POS plans include out-of-network coverage, especially for mental health services. Reimbursement rates vary, but many plans cover 50–80% of the session fee after your deductible is met.
To find out what your plan offers, contact your insurance and ask:
Do I have out-of-network benefits for behavioral health?
What is my out-of-network deductible, and how much of it has been met?
What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed?
How do I submit a superbill or claim?
Important Notes
We are not able to bill your insurance directly.
We cannot guarantee reimbursement, as every plan is different, but we’ll provide all documentation needed for you to file your claim.
Many clients use HSA or FSA accounts to cover therapy costs.
